Doctor’s visit updates:

He listened to the heart again and gave me an orange drink for a sugar test on Monday Oct. 2. He was happy with my fasting blood sugar but apparently they have everyone do the sugar tolerance test around this time. He also told me that wouldn’t schedule another ultrasound until after the 30th week. So, I have to wait for a few more weeks before we can check for Elizabeth or Patrick’s identity. (That is if he or she is willing to move the correct direction/position) Other than being told I’m going to have to wait, the rest of the visit was uneventful and no news was good news.

Pooh Room -- Version 2.01

With extra special thanks to my best friend Stephanie for all her hard work. Without her help there is no way that the room would look this cool...

Presenting the new nursery. . . crib, rocker, toy chest (probably) still to come, but you get the general idea. . .

We Are Very Bad Parents

We are such bad parents. I mean, Madison isn't even strapped into the safety harness for the Super Action Combat Stroller. . . OF DOOM!!! (copyright pending):

Someone should call children's services or something and warn them about our shoddy parenting. . .

Belated updates

Okay, on September 1st I went to the Dr for a check-up. He said that the rest of the tests had come back and they were all negative (which is a good thing) he also said that he looked at the ultrasound and that he was happy with the images that he was seeing there as well. The nurse was able to find the heart beat fairly easily and the Dr measured my stomach and said that the measurement was within target. So, all in all a clean bill of health. My next appointment is September 21st bright and early in the morning so hopefully everything will go well for that visit as well.

Labor day Weekend was fun and busy-
My Mom and my sister threw a couple of different baby showers for Spawn. I was great to get to see friends and relatives that I don’t usually get to talk to. Spawn will be told when they are older that they were very very loved even before they were born. Actually, I almost cried but I bit my cheek a little so I wouldn’t start balling.(mainly because I didn’t know if I could stop. Hormones and all.) Both events went smoothly and hopefully everyone who came had a lot of fun. I know that I did.

Actually, I would like to personally thank everyone who came for coming again and I promise the “real” thank you notes will be in the mail by Monday.

That’s all the news that fit to print for right now
